For couples who want a good time and lovely photos
I’m a candid & colourful wedding photographer and I'm also a recommended supplier at Pendrell Hall and love working with the team there - they're all lovely! I focus on capturing relaxed, natural and romantic moments for couples who want real joy, not stiff poses.
I offer fun, inclusive, colourful & candid documentary wedding photographer across the West Midlands and I just really love LOVE. Capturing happy couples from all walks of life, from bear hugs to happy tears, reminds me of all the lovely things the world has to offer, and my goal is for your wedding photos to remind you of those butterfly flutters and 'I'm on top of the world' feelings.
I can guarantee what you won't remember is the glare of a camera lens or the shutter clicking sounds.
I'll be your advocate, your cheerleader, and your ally - with me you're not just getting a photographer, you're getting a friend who will always listen to you, ease your worries and who cares about your wedding and your loved ones as much as you do.

Who is Blue Jay Photography for?
My photography service is for anyone who wants supportive, relaxed and meaningful photography; we don't discriminate or judge here. That said, my photography services will probably be right for you if...
- Wedding planning is making your head spin and you want someone to make it easier - not harder
You're a little (or alot) camera shy (just like me)
- You love your four legged fur babies (and maybe even have them attending the big day?!)
- You value good food, good company and good vibes
- You want to feel safe, seen, and actually enjoy your wedding day (and not be stood in front of a camera all day)
You really love your partner and want someone who is interested in your story
- You know that one day your photos are going to matter even more than they will today
- You want to celebrate who you are as a couple and do things you're own way (is that a Star Wars cake?!)
I see you, I get you... let's do this!

"Every laugh, every tear, every little “that’s so us” moment was there forever frozen in the most beautiful way"
Alice & Cyan
"Where do I start?
From the very first interaction online, I just knew A-Jay was going to be our photographer. Her candid shots had this magic about them—exactly what we dreamed of for our wedding. Then we met her in person at a wedding fayre, and that sealed it. Her vibe clicked instantly. It didn’t feel like we were booking a photographer; it felt like we’d found a best friend to capture our day.
On the wedding morning, A-Jay turned up bright and early ,camera in hand, huge smile on her face and immediately jumped in to help. She helped my mum get my dress out of its bag, arranged my veil so the creases would drop, then whisked away my shoes and rings for the most gorgeous detail shots.
Throughout the day, she was everywhere and nowhere all at once always in the thick of it, yet somehow invisible.
She was endlessly patient with us, even though I’ve always been known as the family jokester. From my little antics to our last-second decision to do a dip during a walk about shoot . Which prompted A-Jay to exclaim “You’ve gotta warn a girl if you’re gonna do that!”, she caught it all.
Guests even said, “I can hear the photographer… but I can’t see her!”
And it wasn’t just us every single guest was captured beautifully. From joyful hugs to quiet smiles, from heartfelt reactions to those blink-and-you-miss-it moments of chaos.
A-Jay captured the soul of the day effortlessly making it feel like we had booked a close friend to capture our wedding day .
When we got our album back, it was like stepping right back into our wedding. Every laugh, every tear, every little “that’s so us” moment was there forever frozen in the most beautiful way."
