Hello! I'm your friendly neighbourhood neurodivergent wedding photographer and I would LOVE to chat about your wedding!
I'm a colourful fun loving person with a passion for photography and making people happy; so it makes sense that weddings are my happy place!
AJay, how did you get into weddings?
If you'd care to know how the person that may be intimately following you around on the biggest day of your life got into weddings in the first place, I'd tell you that I photographed my first wedding in 2009 when my Aunt and Uncle were given special permission to marry at short notice due to his terminal illness. Since then I have been dedicated to immortalising the truly unmissable moments of people's lives. Your wedding, however big or small, is a once in a lifetime event, and it deserves to be captured accordingly. Meeting people on the best day of their lives is a true privilege, and BOY OH BOY does it bring me tonnes of joy!
You're qualified right?
If credentials are important to you, I have had the honour of earning a spot as a Regional Finalist in The Wedding Business Awards 2020, and a Regional Finalist in The Wedding Industry Awards 2022, as well as earning a few Bronze awards from the Guild of Professional Photographers (of which I am a full fledged member). I now have over ten years of experience, education and professional training in film and documentary photography and just can't get enough of people watching and messing about with cameras! (So becoming a wedding photographer just made sense didn't it?)
I am happiest when I'm shooting a wedding or cuddling my gorgeous rabbits, Daryl & Dolly - that's them there stealing the spotlight in that photo above from my own wedding day! My husband Carl just happen to be in the photo too...
My favourite venues include (but are certainly not limited to...) Pendrell Hall, Mill Barns, Foxtail Barns, Ashes Barn, Mythe Barn, Lightwoods House, The Hundred House, Bordesley Park, Edgbaston Park Hotel, The Old Rectory house, himley Hall, Hawkestone Hall, The Old Library and the West Midlands Safari Park!
